When I wake up
you’re always gone.
I do my bed, eat breakfast
brush my teeth and take my shower.
At times I do little chores
or I’m just plain lazy.
When you come back home
you don’t always seem happy.
I feel like it’s always my fault
like nothing I do is good enough.
I know I’m not always
good at doing chores.
But I figure it’s summer
and it should be my vacation.
I want to be able
to sit down with you.
And have a
daughter and father talk.
I don’t want
to talk responsiblities.
On how I don’t
try to get a job.
I want to talk
to you about
my problems ...
future plans ...
and how I can improve
our relationship
as father and daughter.
Because Daddy I miss you
and forever I will love you!
