I am music
morning to night
My life one continous song
of such rich uplifting light
When I am forced to a life
of eternal rest
When I lie in my satin bed
my soul finally at peace
Oh, do promise no silence
will linger near me
Give the ones I so dearly love
the beauty of fresh scent flowers
Give the ones who come
to mourn ...
a word of "thanks"
But oh do please
promise me
no silence
Let the sound of music
sing my song
Let its melody
be heard
For I am music
my life is in that song
Oh do promise me
no silence
will ever touch me
For I am
only Music
This is my wish
for when I leave
this earth ...
I want music to fill the room
in which my casket
is placed ...
I never want to be
touched by "Silence" ...
