Today I celebrate me
Thank you mom for giving birth,
and teaching me to be free.
You were there and all alone,
in my little pink dress you took me home.
Thank you mom for giving birth to me.
Thank you mom for teaching me to love,
you were my inspiration in life
taught me to love the good Lord up above.
You were there when I shed my heartfelt tears,
You held me close to you and took away my fears.
Thank you mom for giving birth to me.
You worked your fingers to the bone,
a lot of your life you spent all alone.
Never asking for help in anyway.
You did your best for you and me,
never without, I had to be.
Thank you mom for giving birth to me.
In an old rocking chair on the farm,
you would rock me in your arms.
Take all my little hurts and pains away.
Now even though I have grown,
I still need you back at home.
Thank you mom for giving birth to me.
Mom I hope you realize,
all the goodness you possess inside.
Your my piller of stone,
along life's rocky way.
And I hope i make you proud
that I have passed along your way to love.
Thank you mom for giving birth to me.
Now I am a mom just like you.
My little child is all dressed in blue.
I'm his piller of strength,
along life's rocky way.
I pass to him your lasting love,
and teaching him to love the Lord up above.
Thank you mom for giving birth to me.
I'm so proud to call you mom,
to have you as a grandma for my son.
Your older now and time is passing by.
But now I am your piller of stone,
never again will you be alone.
Your family is here so you never have to cry.
We will always be together until the day we die.
Thank you mom for giving birth to me.
Dedicated to my mom,
the best mom there could ever be.
I am so proud to be your daughter
and I love you.
I still love that you call me baby.
