A child is soon to be born
To a young woman
A woman who has anticipated 
this moment for some time



This precious innocent child 
is about to bring her joys, 
she has never felt before
At first glance, 
a cherished memory will be captured in time;
A memory which this young mother 
will hold so dear



This child does not yet know 
the warmth it will bring to her world
For when this beautiful baby arrives
This young mother will feel 
a love like no other



She will shed a joyful tear 
while holding her baby so near
Her heart will melt 
as she embraces this tiny new life
A feeling like no other 
will fill her with tremendous passion



She will dedicate the rest of her life 
to giving her child 
all it needs to grow
Teaching this child 
her values and thoughts she holds near



She will appreciate 
her child as an individual
Allowing this child to learn 
about the world through life's experiences
This young mother will remember 
the littlest moments
For this is her solemn promise
As this young mother is about 
to receive the greatest gift of all!
